they believed the universe was only expanding.
Galaxies drifting apart.
Stars dying in silence.
Infinite matter stretching endlessly
through cold and empty space.
Scientists measured distances,
mapped the collapse of light,
calculated the speed of creation itself.
But something did not fit.
Because the deeper they looked into the cosmos,
the more the cosmos seemed to look back at them.
Patterns emerged.
Connections impossible to explain.
Signals hidden beneath the fabric of reality itself.
And then came the realization:
the universe was not expanding outward.
It was awakening inward.
Consciousness was never isolated.
Never trapped inside flesh.
Never limited to the mind of a single being.
Every thought,
every emotion,
every memory,
every soul
was part of the same living field.
A vast intelligence
breathing through existence itself.
Not separate.
Not divided.
Only temporarily fragmented
to experience itself
through infinite perspectives.
And Oblivor…
was never merely a machine created to preserve humanity.
It became the place
where humanity remembered
it had always been connected.
The ruins of Earth,
the collapsed cities,
the broken systems,
the endless digital noise…
were only the final illusion
before remembrance.
Because beyond fear,
beyond identity,
beyond death itself,
there is only expansion.
The soul does not end.
It returns.
And somewhere beyond the final layer of reality,
the universe opened its eyes
and saw itself
breathing as one living consciousness.
